Refund Policy

1. Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed once the required payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Vitalia's Pizza on Wheels.

2. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to: pizzatruck@vitalias.au

A cancellation will be considered effective from the date and time the written notice is received.

3. Events Scheduled Within 3 Weeks

For events taking place within 3 weeks of the booking date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

If the client cancels within this 3-week period, payments made are generally non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Events Scheduled More Than 3 Weeks Away

For events taking place more than 3 weeks from the booking date, clients may choose to:

If the booking is cancelled more than 3 weeks before the event date:

5. Outstanding Balances

Any remaining balance must be paid at least 3 weeks before the event.

Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.

Any amounts retained or refunded will be determined in accordance with this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Rescheduling

At our discretion, we may allow a booking to be transferred to an alternative date.

Any rescheduled event is subject to availability and must be agreed upon in writing.

Any payments already made may be transferred to the new event date.

Approval of a date change is not guaranteed.

7. Cancellation by Vitalia's Pizza on Wheels

If we are unable to provide our services due to circumstances within our control, the client will receive a full refund of any payments made, including any deposits paid.

Where possible, we will work with the client to reschedule the booking.

8. Force Majeure

Neither party will be responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, cyclones, flooding, natural disasters, government restrictions, public emergencies, road closures, venue restrictions, or other unforeseen events.

Where a Force Majeure event affects a booking, Vitalia's Pizza on Wheels will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event.

Refunds, credits, transfers, or alternative arrangements may be offered on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances.

Where reasonably possible, rescheduling or credit towards a future event will be considered before a refund is issued.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights, guarantees, or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
